IVAN'S MUSIC

All tracks were written and recorded between the late 1980's and early 1990's.

3 mates from school with aspirations in rock'n'roll started jamming in our garages

and writing songs together. We called ourselves Cobra Dane (apparently - according to Dave)

this was the name of a spy island in the Pacific, and the name appealed.

Eventually, we found other interests, but managed to record a number of tunes,

collectively and individually. Mark and Dave still have an amateur interest in playing

and recording; whilst I am happy to continue as a music fan, unencumbered by

my former obsession with being able to play and write like my musical heroes.

This page is here mainly for posterity and nostalgia. But I like to think that my lyrics

contain a message and a vibe and ethos that I have continued to respect and try to honour

in my work as a writer.
